I've been a member of Adam Block Studios for about a year. I subscribe to both Pixinsight Fundamentals and Horizon's and have found Adam's entire site to be tremendously helpful to my image processing! In Pixinsight Horizons, Adam has Full Example Processing Sessions, one of those is NGC 3614, so I decided to tackle it. The session comes with a tremendous set of complete data (lights, darks, flats, and bias), taken with the Schulman Telescope at Steward Observatory's Mount Lemmon Sky Center (5692mm f/l) and 15 videos totaling 5 hours of tutorials that encompass's his entire processing of this beautiful image.
I wanted to process this data set because I had read that Adam had, actually, discovered and written a paper on his discovery of the Stellar Streams associated with NGC 3614....here's a link to his very interesting research

I thought that there was NO WAY I could come up with an image anywhere close to as good as Adam's published image, but I followed along with his video tutorials and came up with, what I think, is a pretty darn good image....for the first try.....I even got the Stellar Streams to show up...YAY!! They're very faint, one's at about 11:00 and the other is about 2:00. This image took me 3 days to process...time well spent!!
